I would rather chat about you………
but here’s a little about me
I am based in Essex, with surrounding areas of Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Herts, Kent and London…… however I work all over the UK and Internationally. Just call me the travelling celebrant (it’s another passion of mine…..travelling…. so any excuse!).
I love animals, I used to compete in dressage, Im a little obsessed with the 80’s animation Jem & the Holograms. I hate cauliflower cheese & even worse carbonara….. urgh yuk (sorry).
I have a background in performance, as an actor, presenter and radio host mostly. I have also worked as a special effects make-up artist, events manager and owner of a chocolate business. You could say a Jack of all trades…. but blooming hec is it fun trying to be Master of them all!
Having family and friends in the wedding industry, I suddenly had that light bulb moment…. in my performing career I studied people, I created productions, I encompassed stories and I love ‘lovey stuff’….. voila….. Celebrant it is!
“Doubt thou the stars are fire, doubt that the sun doth move, doubt truth to be a liar, but never doubt I love”
William Shakespear, Hamlet,
Act 2 Scene 2
So why a celebrant? Is it legal? What’s a Registrar? What do you do?……..
There is a huge difference…. a celebrant-led wedding creates your very own ceremony, with your very own story and your very own dream. A registrar is simply there to make sure it is conducted by law, without any personalisation, which is the factor to make a ceremony memorable. In fact, many couples mention how stressful they find the, quick ‘repeat after me’ versus given by a registrar. Taking another stance, if you wanted a nod to your culture or religion you won’t be able to do this with a registrar, but as a celebrant we can do anything!
Love is Love

For all services and events, apart from funerals, payments can be made in two ways: the full fee upfront, which will gain a 5% discount or three installments: the booking fee, the fee upon receiving of the first script draft and the final payment no less than 28 days prior to the ceremony.
For International ceremonies abroad, please enquire for costs. If I have another ceremony in that area of the world, this may save you travel costs or if it happens that my travels may be taking me out that way and I can organise this around your date, again this may save you on costings. PLUS, you get to work with me in the UK in the lead up, rather than a celebrant abroad who can only communicate via zoom! woohoo
